From Hopelessness to Faith

Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood were in hopelessness.
Their hopelessness was exchanged for faith.
They both fell at the feet of Jesus and their fears were exchanged with His compassionate concern. He called the woman, “daughter.”
Jesus wanted to make the woman whole just as much He healed her disease.
Notice the woman had to break the mosaic law to touch Jesus and come out into a crowd. Jairus also risked his position as a synagogue ruler by falling at the feet of Jesus.
Sometimes we take risks when we move into faith.
Jesus ultimately is proving He is God by raising the dead.
We may not always be healed of every disease or sickness, but we will hear Him say, “Arise.”

The impala can jump 10’ high and leap distances of 30’ but will not jump over a 3’ wall at a zoo. The reason is they can’t see where their feet will land. Fear can keep us behind a wall and paralyze us. What does this say about you and your faith in Jesus.
