- Passing over the Jordan required more faith than the Israelites needed 40 years prior when they walked across the Red Sea. This time they weren’t running from trouble; they were walking into trouble. This required Faith!
- Passing by the priests and the Ark in the dry riverbank made a lasting impression on those who crossed.
- Memorial stones were placed for generations to remember the faithfulness of God.
- God wants us to remember times in our past when He delivered us through trials.
- Memorials help us to remember to have faith when faced with new trials.
